L’importanza di un secondo strato
Il secondo strato è un’ulteriore arma che abbiamo a disposizione per allontanare dal corpo l’umidità che si crea con il movimento ed allo stesso tempo fornire calore. La scelta del pile tecnico corretto è quindi un aspetto da tenere in grande considerazione quando si compone l’outfit per un’uscita nella natura, a prescindere dall’attività che si andrà a svolgere: Trekking, alpinismo, sci alpinismo, arrampicata, trail running e mountain bike. Ma quindi come si sceglie il secondo strato corretto?
In primis ciò di cui va tenuto conto è il peso del capo, si tratta infatti della variabile più importante da prendere in considerazione per assicurarsi il giusto indumento. Un pile leggero è ottimo per le uscite nelle giornate più miti o quando si svolge attività molto intensa, in questo modo permette il controllo della sudorazione, mantenendo il corpo asciutto, conservando o dissipando il calore nel minor tempo possibile. Al contrario un pile pesante è fondamentale per aumentare il livello di termicità, un aspetto fondamentale quando si intraprende un’avventura nella natura in condizioni climatiche più estreme o quando si prevedono lunghe pause che possono far abbassare repentinamente la temperatura corporea.
