The mountains are challenging and often unpredictable. When we head out with our skis, even if it’s just for an after-work training session, we need to be ready for whatever conditions the mountains might throw at us. Intense cold, sudden gusts of wind, abrupt weather changes. We created our Valsesia Shell Jacket for these situations, to provide protection when we need it most. It’s compactible and lightweight, weighing only 317 grams, so there’s always room for it in the backpack. Forgetting it would be a mistake! When you put it on, it offers unparalleled freedom of movement. The high position of the pockets allows you to easily use it with a harness. The high collar offers greater protection from the elements, while the hood is designed for use with a helmet and offers the right adjustment on the sides, so you always enjoy the best vision. Made of three-layer stretch Pertex® Shield® fabric with DWR treatment, it guarantees impermeability to a 20,000 mm water column and offers 20,000 g/m2/24h breathability, features that make it perfect for the most intense outings and more.
