About Marco Confortola.
Marco Confortola is an alpine guide, helicopter rescue specialist and Himalayan ski instructor with 11 eight-thousanders to his credit. A celebrity spokesperson for the Rifugi di Lombardia, he describes himself as a “creator of dreams and smiles.” He lives in the upper Valtellina in the heart of the Stelvio National Park and frequently speaks to children and to companies in the outdoor industry. Marco is synonymous with the mountains. He considers his vocation as a mountain guide to be a romantic calling, and making people love the magical world of the mountains an art.
