BIOGRAPHY
Omar Genuin of Falcade, born in 1981, is one of the strongest climbers in Italy, with notable achievements on the south face of the Marmolada, including the Attraverso il Pesce route in five and a half hours to the ledge, with the legendary Manolo, all free climbing, of course. A former high-level cross-country skier, ski instructor and coach, he has dedicated himself to climbing for many years, reaching significant milestones on crags and, more importantly, in the mountains, repeating and free climbing some of the most difficult and challenging routes in the Dolomites, among some of the hardest climbs in the world. A reserved character, but at the same time bright and pleasant, he has made serious climbing his motivation for life. Omar is a member of the Club Alpino Accademico Italiano and lives in Falcade with Sara Avoscan.
